A global Biotech company from the west coast of USA had a product in phase three for oncology. This was the first of their products in Oncology and therefore carried significant commercial and reputational value.
EW – Change was appointed to understand if the team was working optimally during the Covid 19 pandemic and to make necessary behavioural changes to improve performance. EW – Change implemented the high performance teams programme within the organisation, which was then rolled out to all other Oncology assets. Members of the team have been subsequently promoted due to their substantial leadership development.
Geographical Expansion

A rare disease company was preparing to complete the purchase a new asset for over $1bn. This acquisition included potential expansion into the Japanese market, a region they had no prior experience in.
EW – Change were tasked with educating the organisation on the launch process within Japan and analysing the market to assess commercial viability. EW – Change utilised existing experience within its network to appraise the market’s current performance, as well as its size and potential for sales. EW – Change informed the client of the regulatory frameworks, market access and reimbursement pathways, and demonstrated how to make best use of the supply chain, and finally market the product. This enabled the organisation to make an informed decision with pace. EW – Change achieved a three week turn around on commercial viability whilst the client completed due diligence on the molecule.
